Another LARP creation, this is for a character I'm playing eventually, it's build on a Nerf CS-6 Recon so fires Nerf Ammo and all.

It's been lightly altered with Kneadite (Green Stuff!) and Plasticard and then painted up.
The 'Night Sight' which comes with a battery powered Red LED which isn't much use has been stripped and replaced with an old Mag-Light. I may replace that again with a multifunctional LED torch that has a Red Laser in it just for coolness.
The space above the 'Repent' piece is there for an Aquilla to be placed when I can get a decent enough one sourced to make it look good.
Not massively happy with the paint job, but it was my first one.

Ha! Awesome. I love the snub design and paint job.
Reminds me of some sort of Gears of War weapon.

I do have two Recon to Bolter conversion (sans banana-mag) laying around the place that I should probably finish and sell at some point.
However, my brain fell out for a, erm, a long while, along with memory of my DA and anything creative, will try and get on this if people are actually interested.

Not sure if the scale would be right but try Forgeworld - they have some brass etched aquilla that may do the trick.

It wasn't supposed to be properly scaled, it was more just a basic, Aesthetic modification for the larp, still needed to be entire functional.
However, I am working on something a lot better at the moment to go with the new armour!

And yeah, I do plan on getting their aquilla pack at some point, or spending an evening sculpting some myself to try and get a set of them for decoration.
Along with new Purity Seal moulds and such

That is very well done. Such an easy conversion too. Having said that I am working on that same gun in a "konvershun" to be an Ork slugga... So there ya go... :P

I actually just used Games Workshop paints. They're just high quality water based Acrylic paints.
First time 'Bolt Gun Metal' has been used on an actual bolt gun!
